In our vision, mission, and passion, PAC-LAB Higher Institute of Technology and Management Sciences strives not only to offer training that equips its student with the relevant and necessary knowledge, skills, and values needed to stand out in the career and profession, but equally also to that this same opportunity is available for the less privileged students in Cameroon and sub-Saharan Africa.
According to the Association of American Universities (2022), research creates the foundation for major advances in such areas as health and medicine, communications, food, economics, energy, and national security. And it helps educate students to be scientific leaders and innovators. The national investment in university research, in turn, has fueled U.S. economic growth and prosperity and made the nation a beacon for the best and brightest from around the world. PAC-LAB Higher Institute of Technology and Management Sciences is doing its best to strengthen investment in research to promote scientific, technological, and economic development not only in Cameroon but also in Africa.
The management of PAC-LAB Higher Institute of Technology and Management Sciences has made available some funds, buildings, and equipment to sponsor effective research and training of students but some fields are still lacking (computer engineering, mining technology, and biomedical fields). We need help. Concerning training the underprivileged PAC-LAB HITMS on their part has been offering scholarships to a few underprivileged as well as deserving students and wants to do more, hence the need for financial support.
